Our Roll-Off Sizes

What roll-off dumpster sizes does Nu-Way offer?

We carry three roll-off sizes: a 10-yard lowboy for heavy debris, a 20-yard for most home and mid-size jobs, and a 40-yard for large construction and commercial work. Not sure which fits? Tell us your project and we'll match you to the right one.

10-Yard Lowboy

What is the 10-yard lowboy roll-off best for?

The 10-yard lowboy has lower walls that make it easy to toss debris over the side. It's ideal for small remodels, bathroom tear-outs, and heavy material like concrete, brick, and dirt.

Is the 10-yard good for concrete, dirt, and heavy debris?

Yes — the lowboy is our go-to for dense, heavy loads. Because concrete and dirt hit weight limits quickly, a smaller, dedicated bin like the 10-yard keeps you under the limit and helps you avoid overage charges. Just tell us it's a heavy load and we'll send the right box.

20-Yard Roll-Off

What is a 20-yard roll-off best for?

The 20-yard is our most popular all-purpose size. It handles kitchen and bath remodels, flooring, roofing, large garage and estate cleanouts, and mid-size construction, with room to spare for most home projects.

How much does the 20-yard roll-off hold?

The 20-yard holds up to roughly 5 tons, which covers the debris from most remodels and cleanouts. If your load is especially heavy, ask us and we'll help you avoid going over the weight limit.

40-Yard Roll-Off

What is a 40-yard roll-off best for?

The 40-yard is our largest box — built for large construction, demolition, commercial build-outs, and high-volume lightweight debris like cardboard, wood, and drywall.

How big is the 40-yard compared to the 20-yard?

The 40-yard has the same footprint as the 20-yard but stands about twice as tall, so it fits in the same spot while holding double the volume. It's the best choice when you have a lot of bulky, lightweight material to clear.

General Roll-Off Questions

How much does a roll-off dumpster rental cost?

Your price depends on the size, your location, and how long you keep it. Every rental includes delivery, pickup, and a 7-day window, and we quote the full price upfront with no surprise fees. Call, text, or request a free quote in minutes.

Will a roll-off fit in my driveway, and will it damage the surface?

Most roll-offs fit in a standard driveway, and our drivers place them carefully. We can set boards underneath to protect pavers and finished concrete. Just point out where you want it and let us know if you'd like extra surface protection.

Do I need a permit for a roll-off dumpster?

On your own driveway or private property you usually don't. If the roll-off has to sit on a public street, your city may require a permit, and rules vary across LA and Orange County. Tell us your address and we'll help you figure out what's needed.

How long can I keep the roll-off, and can you swap it?

Standard rentals include a generous 7-day window with delivery and pickup included. If you fill it before you're done, just call and we'll haul the full box away and drop a fresh one so your project never stalls. Weekly and monthly service is available too.

What can and can't go in a roll-off dumpster?

Most construction and demolition debris, household junk, furniture, yard/green waste, and concrete are fine. Keep out hazardous materials, wet paint, tires, batteries, and certain electronics. Not sure about an item? Ask us and we'll tell you the right way to handle it.

How fast can you deliver a roll-off dumpster?

Fast — same-day delivery is often available across Los Angeles and Orange County. Call or text (626) 840-6300 and we'll get a clean, sturdy roll-off box to your job site as soon as today.
